One of the really great things guests (especially families) can do from Waipoua Lodge is visit our local dairy farmer John Pittams at afternoon milking time.

You can choose to observe or actually get involved with the cows being herded into the cowshed and then being coupled up to the milking suction caps … and we will arrange the photograph !
