City slicker with dreams of being a country pioneer?

One of the really great things our guests can do from Waipoua Lodge is visit our local dairy farmer at afternoon milking time.

Families especially find this experience great fun and if you are used to living in the city you can for a short time certainly become a country pioneer !

You can choose to observe or actually get involved with the cows being herded into the cowshed and then being coupled up to the milking suction caps … and we will arrange the photograph !
