Children at Waipoua Lodge

We welcome children to stay at Waipoua Lodge. They can play on the trampoline, climb up to the tree hut, discover frogs in the pond at the bottom of the garden, play with our friendly dog, meet the cows and chickens, build a bush hut like a real kiwi kid or splash in the jacuzzi.

We ask that you observe other guests' privacy while here with your children. We try to seat families for an early meal to create privacy for other guests at a later dinner seating. Dinner for kids is prepared from healthy and tempting food for your child.

Children under 6 stay free when sharing with adults.

We can provide a rollaway bed, a portacot and a highchair. Babysitting is also available at the lodge. Please request babysitting in advance.
