Well here it is … our first official BLOG !

Who ever said “red sky in the morning shepherd’s warning?” The rule obviously does not apply up here on the incredible Kauri Coast.  This photo was taken at 7.00 am on 30th June which turned out to be a great day for working in the lodge grounds shredding all the hedge cuttings into mulch for the gardens.  Getting up early to make our lovely guests breakfast does have some fantastic visual benefits!
