With picnic basket in hand, discover the Kauri Coast with its secluded golden sand beaches, walk a cliff top path with breathtaking views, meander alongside a bubbling river or stroll around a crystal clear lake.

Returning to the lodge, relax in the garden, or perhaps meander the peaceful bushwalk before enjoying your pre-dinner drink and antipasto platter and your sumptuous a la carte menu.

And …. maybe take a guided night walk into the forest to experience the world’s oldest and largest kauri trees, or explore the nocturnal habitat of the elusive kiwi.
